Female Supreme Court Nominee
I am concerned that this nominee (Harriet Miers) will
not fully support women's issue .. particularly in terms of abortion and any other issues that may come up over the next 20 or so years. I found this link in Yahoo: http://www.townhall.com/blogs/c-log/...03/159236.html Can anyone offer any additional information? Thx!!! Fog :)

I don't see any reason that it would come as a surprise to anybody in the country that GW would select a pro-life nominee.
Of course he picked a conservative person to be a judge, he's a conservative president. It seems like a no-brainer.... WTF? Why is this a big story?

Harriet Miers a bad candidate because she's underqualified. Bush puts people he knows who support him in jobs they don't deserve. All this lady's really got behind her belt is the Texas lottery. Even republicans are pissed about this, not because they don't think she'll take their position on big issues, but because it's an insult.
