Crazy? Living in a hole? This is yet ANOTHER fuckin remake from a Hollywood that's completely run out of ideas. No bitch'll ever have the horror filled eyes that Carol Kane did in the original version. They shouldn't even bother. And in this new version...the terrorized woman appears to do battle with her foe. WTF? In the original...they managed to keep you on the edge of your seat...and the motherfucker became a classic... WITHOUT HER EVEN COMING IN CONTACT WITH HIM!!!

This one does look like it'll suck badly. Though, one thing does seem good IMO; Her battling with the foe.
Yes, I've seen the original. But, I only liked the first fifteen minutes of it. I hated how afterwards it went into a whole new direction. I would've loved to see it stick with the Carol Kane bit from the first fifteen minutes (because adding her at the end just didn't cut it).

I loved how they gave away the big shock of the film's remake IN the preview.
If the point WAS to show an updated version to teens who had never heard of the movie, why give away the big shock?? On a side note, does the house look just like the house from Hostage?

I have the original in my collection... Just by the previews, it looks nothing like the original. To all the people who havent seen the original, I prefer that you all see the original before the remake.
SPOILER***** To the people who saw the original..... From the previews, the movie looks like it surrounds a teenage girl in the house, but we all know that was just a short part in the movie... The movie goes way beyong that. All i saw was a teenage girl from the previews. In the very good original, i love the call in the restaurant... How creepy!! The restaurant call was more creepier than the house call. PS...... If you think its a teen slasher, you will be highly disappointed. Atleast the original wasnt!

The remake doesn't look that good at all. If I watch it...it will be a rental.
While babysitting did any of your friends ever call you and say, "Have you checked the children" after the original came out?
