What am I missing??

Some of the best horror movies I've seen in recent years never made it to the theater--at least, not where I live. I've discovered them just by browsing in the video store or Netflix.

These include Dead Birds and all the Ginger Snaps movies.

What movies would others here recommend? What straight-to-video movies have you really liked?
