U know what the world needS?

A couple of good gwar/exploitation films to be played in mainstream cinemas. I woud love to see The Guinea pig experiment on the big screen, or if in the mood for something less serious....TROMA.

It would be great if stuff like that was exposed to a larger audience.

What would be better than going out for a few drinks and then catching a midnight showing of one of these type of flicks??

I would love to see people's reactions to a TROMA trailer on network television.

(((The extremist christians would have a ball protesting)))

Never happen...Not enough money to be made from it...And, unfortunately, money is all that really matters to the 'mainstream'...

Now, if I owned my OWN theater...heh:)

This goes out to a past member whom loved Burt Bacharach.

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It’s the only thing that there’s just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
No not just for some but for everyone

Lord we don’t need another mountain
There are mountains and hillsides
Enough to climb
There are oceans and rivers
Enough to cross. enough to last
’till the end of time

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It’s the only thing that there’s just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
No not just for some but for everyone

Lord we don’t need another meadow
There are corn fields and wheat fields
Enough to grow
There are sun beams and moon beams
Enough to shine
Oh listen lord if you want to know

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It’s the only thing that there’s just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
No not just for some but for everyone

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
What the world needs now

i couldnt agree more. I guess i live on both sides of the balance. Sometimes life can be soo good and soo perfect, while other times, not giving a fuck is not enough to express how much you hate every lil freakin thing that exists.

Today..i am the latter. Weekend should fix that up though.

A zombie apocolypse would definitly be a cool way for things to go out. :D

as for the topc - eh, im sure alot of people have noo idea about troma and all the other extremes that filmmaking go to. All it takes is a little exposure, and it would be packed every day with stoners...lil kids looking to get a shock...and others who just laugh at a type of film that theyve never seen b4.

Ahh...But, horror fans know...Hell, even my KIDS know Toxie ...Unfortunately...Horror fans are NOT the majority...I still say, it wouldn't be considered a lucrative enough venture for anyone 'big' to pursue...'Tis a shame, though...

No 2 Seperate companies.

Troma is just plain wild - First couple times you see it, its hard to even understand what you are witnessing.

Full Moon TRIES to be serious. But ends up being just b-movie fun.
