Can't sleep...

So it's 3:12 in the a.m. in Iowa and I'm sitting in bed unable to fall asleep. I've tried like 3 times and I keep getting back on this damn laptop to busy myself until I get tired.

It's weird when you're lying in bed with your eyes closed, fully awake. You start hearing things you never heard before. Like any car that drives by my apartment window sounds like a giant insect roaring by. Or the random sounds coming from my idle laptop sound like someone mumbling outside my bedroom door. Kinda irritating and creepy.

I don't have any meds to knock me out, help!!!

i just got home. i picked up my bffrom work cu zi dropped him off eariler

anyway. we were in bed sleepin and it took so long to get out of bed. holy crap, i fuckin love driving al sleepy and shit. i have a litle heart man hanging off of my rear view and kept thinking WHO THE FUCK IS THAT .. then it was just him swingin

and then there was this huge semi in front of me but it was just the glare of the lights on the road

so ij ust ook a shower, im making a pizza with the end of wohle wheat bread. and im on here

u ever get so fuckin sleepy that u cant go to sleep? like, i get that way, cuz im too sleepy to get up, tkae a shower, wash my face, brush teeth. etc etc, so i just stay up :(

ive never tried dayquil or nyqil either. those scares me

if you cant sleep .. try reading - or watching an old black and white movie.

the only time i experienced that (i have the opposite problem now) is when things were bugging my subconcious. Financial woes normally..


i found that mapping and planning things out on paper that were getting out of hand helped me sleep again..

I hardly sleep at all anymore. The past year or so it's been terrible...I try, I'm always tired but when I lay down I just lay there and I can't stop thinking...about nothing at all!!! I usually pass out about an hour or 2 before I have to be up for work, then I over sleep

Well it's not surprising, about 10 minutes after I started this thread I passed out at the computer. I just started mapping out guitar tabs in my head and... down for the count. That should be my new "counting sheep" routine.

I suggest alcohol. That always makes me pass out. Then I wake up again later. After which I have a glass of water. Hmmm then possibly I would have a coffee....

I find post "wild monkey sex" sleep is the best. The problem is, my wife and i usually have the best sex when she bumps into me at 1 in the morning and i wake up ready to go. usually lasts about an hour or two, we do everything you can think of, then we drop dead into a coma-like sleep.

Then the alarm goes off 2 hours later when i could have used another 5.

An hour or two?.........thats right....your a young-un.
