I enjoyed the origional Japanese movie more than the American version, but in all fairness the Japanese sequel and prequel both sucked. The story in the Japanese sequel didn't make any sense and the prequel was not worth watching in any way save for the last 15 minutes (the bad cinematography made it look very made for TV). I am interested to see what direction this American sequel might take.

The Ring4 was good so theres no point in remaking number2.

Let get this straight 4 once.I HATE "THE RING"!!!!!I saw bits and pieces of the film in CineMax and it made no sense.For God's Sake people GROW UP!!!!!!!Make something that have Micheal Myers,Freddy Kruger,Jason Vorhees,Leatherface,or Chucky for once.Then I'll be happy that you didn't made a dumbass film!!!!!!GEEZ!!!!!!
