Dark Shadows

I'm seminew to this board so if there is already a thread about this, I apologize.

There was a show that started in 1966 called Dark Shadows that was about people in a house where supernatural things would happen. They had vampires and werewolves and things of the sort, and even had their version of Frankenstein's Monster. The show wasn't really scary, or very horror-like but it was somewhat interesting. There is a rumor that Fox is trying to bring the show back to modern times, which could be very cool if done correctly. From time to time TMC will do something with the old Dark Shadows episodes and it might be worthing checking out if they do it again.

If your a fan of "Dark Shadows" you might want to check out the movies "House Of Dark Shadows" and "Night Of Dark Shadows" both were theatrical motion pictures that were released in the early 70's and starred the original shows casts. Both are on VHS but not DVD (yet). In the 90's NBC aired a new version of the show with a new cast it lasted about 13 episodes. (I thought it was damn good). Last season the WB filmed a new pilot for yet another version of the show but due to problems with the director it never went past the pilot. As of now no new "Dark Shadows" is planned.
