Chants R&B
![]() Wow! That's all I can say at the moment about these guys. Dusted off a copy of their Stagedoor Witch Doctors CD I hadn't listened to in awhile and was blown away. They were NZs answer to the garage rhythm and blues explosion of the sixties. There song "I Want Her" is a total fuckin' classic and this band has amazing energy. My favorite band of this period along with Seattle's raw sleazmeisters The Sonics. http://www.sergent.com.au/chants.html http://www.mikeruddbillputt.com/hist...tory_page2.htm |
