Kolchak:The Night Stalker
I always thought this was the best horror show on TV. Even though it only lasted 2 movies and 20 episodes it was a fun show to watch, personal favorite episode "Chopper" about a headless motorcycle rider...truly hilarious. Rumor has it that a new movie is in the works. Any other fans out there....what are your favorite episodes and who do think could star in a new movie version?

A Kolchak fan ......I'm guessing your close, if not ,in your fortys. There's a few of us old farts on here.
I loved the first two movies but I didn't see as many of the episodes as I would have liked.At least I don't remember seeing them.......consumed much beer since the 70's.Many brain cells lost. They already remade this series..it was called the X-FILES.

I loved those episodes.
As to which was my favorite--I'll have to think about it. It seems there was one really nasty vampire one, but I don't remember the title.

Oddly enough the episode about a female vampire in LA was called "The Vampire". very original titles on this show.

shit i liked the one about the creature that took the form of the person you trusted most that was awesome dont recall the title.....there was all the swastikas and shit painted everywhere and they made a big deal about there being neonazi's but it was some hindu dude or whatever actually making like a good luck simple to keep evil away good episode........and not only old farts have seen it they show reruns on sci-fi i believe and im only 18 and have seen them.

i actually have the Pilot episode on a tape - i should convert it to DVD.
That was so long ago i can barely remember individual shows .. There was something about a haunted skyscraper ..(being built) but as i truely am an old fart, my memory is failing. The origional Rod Serlings 'the twilight zone' and 'night gallery' were great too
