FAQ/User's guide
Since I can not find the users guide on how to do things on this forum I request an FAQ or just some personal help on a few things
1. How do I change my avatar to a .GIF? 2. Can pictures use any URL? So far these are the only questions I have but if people would like to expand the list that would be great.

Yes, pictures can use any url.
To change your avatar to a gif, upload the gif somewhere and use that url in your profile. Avatars have to be really small though (the file size).
