Drum Mic Placement

I honestly dont know if any of you musicians are interested in this, but do any of you know any good mic placement for drums.
I spent about 2 hoursplacing mics. Me and my partner used 25 mics(just for fun)on 24 tracks unfortunately.
we used KSM 44, AT 4033, Akg 451, MD421, Octavas, Neumann K184, Audix D1-D2, Sennheiser something, Sm81 57 58, D112, RE20, U91, more that arent coming to mind right now but all great mics.

Any opinions?
Suggestions?

We did a bit of this in my Audio classes...i didnt really pay much attention to the mic types, but we used some of the ones you mentioned...

You might try the x-y spaced pair for the overheads...i heard that works well... also try looking for the "nodes" or the hot spot of each drum, have the drummer it that drum and walk around and listen for the spot it sounds best at....then mic it there....

Thats what we were tought...
