Recent movies you watched

I know anew one of these threads pops up every other day, but its my turn.

What new movies have you seen recently?

here is my list (the horror-type ones, anyway)

Bubba Ho-Tep
HellBoy
Henry: Portait of a serial killer
Dog Soldiers (okay, it was the second time)

All are good, except Henry, which wanted to be a documentary, but really didnt have shit to do with Henry Lee Lucas.

Hellboy was awesome..... Great Action.

Bubba Ho-tep was better than it had any right to be.

Dpg Soldiers just fucking rocks. I love foul-mouthed englishmen (and Scotts). Anyone else catch the Matrix reference in this movie? 10 points to whoever can name it.

Ginger Snaps
Dog soldiers
The Devil's backbone
The Witches of Eastwick
Scanners
The exorcist
Dances with wolves

liked them all. Ginger snaps was actually a bit better than I expected, but I have to say that I was very dissapointed when I saw the werewolfs ( in dogs soldies and ginger snaps). they looked so plastic, it's was almost like the Howling all over again...

Dances with wolves is not horror, I know, but god dammit it was great! I watched the very long version of it ( somekind of directors cut I think) and there was no dull moment in it.

Mystic River---very good, very well acted. Good to see Clint getting respect in his directing endevours.

Devils Nightmare-- bundled in a 4 movie set called Blood Bath, --not horrible, lots of atmosphere.

Love Actually--*cough,cough*--gotta watch one for the wife once in a while.

the first 10 min. of Ghost Ship. --movie sucks but you gotta love the beginning.

I agree that beginning was cool but the movie wasn't so good after that!

My husband NEVER has to watch romantic comedies because I generally hate them, with the exception of a select few!LOL!
