Under The Dome To TV?!

http://tvovermind.zap2it.com/cable/s...eries-showtime

According to this article, Stephen King's Under The Dome is being developed into a series for Showtime. I haven't read UTD, but it's sitting on my shelf right now waiting to be read. I'm not really sure what to think since i haven't read it yet but i am excited about it as i love Stephen King.

What does everyone think?

Haven't read the book, but I checked out some reviews on it and the concept could make a good show. Showtime did a great job with Dexter. I actually think I like the show better than the books.

I actually liked Darkly Dreaming Dexter (not as much as the show though), but the other books got progressively worse till I stopped reading them. I had actually read the book first and was surprised they cast Michael C. Hall as Dexter. (I loved him in Six Feet Under, but couldn't see him as a serial killer.) God was I wrong, he plays that part perfect!! After seeing him do it, I can't think of an actor that would play it as well.

I was thinking about ordering it too then I saw it was over 1000 pages (typical King :p)

The book was good, but not one of my favourites.

I think the TV show starts in 4 days? Still not sure what it will be like but I'll give it a shot.

I read about some of the changes they made and was wary until I heard Stephen King approved them. I'm excited for this now

I'm going to watch this next week. The cast looks pretty good. A bunch of horror/sci-fi actors I've seen in other shows.
