The Devil In The White City

How awesome is this?!

Martine Scorsese will direct a movie about Dr. H.H. Holmes, a serial killer who is believed to have killed somewhere between 27-200 people.
And Holmes will be played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

So one of the best directors around will make a big budget R-rated movie about a serial killer, who'll be played by one of the best actors at the moment.
I'm so looking forward to this one!

This, Blomkamp's Alien and Deadpool are giving me a good feeling when it comes to future movies. More R-rated movies with bigger budgets, just like in the good old days.

I haven't liked any super hero movies since the first 3 x-man films, sans dark knight ones. Deadpool looks like it'll be a lot of fun, more so because its going to be rated R yes? I just hope all the wit, which is meh, in the trailer is only a small part of the amount of it in the film. You know how various films show the funny bits in the film to get people to come and those were the only funny bits.

One of the reasons I'm looking forward to Deadpool is that if the movie's succesful enough, we'll might get more bigger R-rated productions.
Making superhero movies darkes has become the trend afters the succes of The Dark Knight. So it makes sense that the next one would be more R-rated superhero movies.

Can't comment on the trailer. Quit watching those for some time now.
More often than not they show to much or give a wrong impression.
All I need is some info and a couple of screenshots.
I also think it improves the movie experience If you haven't seen any of the visuals before.

Nod. What I usually do is watch a trailer and put the movie on my list and then let time and senility forget what its about and then randomly watch a film on my list(unless I'm looking for something specific).

I love when Martin & Leo team up! No doubt this one will be good. Haven't ever heard of Dr. H.H. Holmes though.

First I've heard about this! Holmes was one devious, deranged dude. This one should be excellent.

Thanks Baron!

Leo has definitely earned my respect in the latest years of his career. Growing up, I just assumed his career would go only as far as his teen heart throb status would allow him, but he's definitely transcended that. I loved Shutter Island, and that was Scorsese's first horror attempt that I'm aware of. So yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Though, am I the only one who would love to see him take a stab at an organized crime/horror hybrid? :D
