Thanks Hammer.

I love Dog Soldiers. I also love Hammer Films...The Devil Rides Out being one of my favorites.

It's hard to pick because I like all sorts of stuff.

I like Cheeseball 80's/90's Horror like "The Brain", "Trick Or Treat", "Ghoulies 3", "The Unnamable", "Evil Toons", "Black Roses", "Dead Alive", "Bad Taste"

I like all the Franchise's of course "F13", "Nightmare", "Halloween", "Chainsaw", "Phantasm", "Hellraiser"

I like Classic Hammer and Universal monsters. Anything with Karloff, Lugosi, Lon Chaney Sr. & Jr., Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee.

I like a lot of the Italians: Argento, Fulci, D'Amato, etc...

I honestly like just about everything. Even SyFy Channel Movies.

I've got a fairly large DVD collection (over 5,000) and a good deal of them are Horror films.

Thanks newb...

The Blues list is probably as varied as my movie list...lol.

The biggies of course...Clapton, SRV, B.B. King, Albert King, Freddie King, Albert Collins, Robert Johnson, Robert Cray, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James, etc

Some not so big guys...Maurice John Vaughan, Bill Perry, Roger "Hurricane" Wilson, Paul Reddick And The Sidemen, Little Milton, Hound Dog Taylor.

I've been playing guitar for 20 years. I love Blues, Rock, Metal, Country, Classical, Jazz...it's all good to me. The only thing I don't listen to is Rap or Hip Hop or anything like that.

Newb,
Oh yeah, Walter Trout...he's a picker and a half man. I've got probably 5 or 6 of his albums. I saw him back around 2002-3 when I was out going to blues shows constantly. Had a great time.

There is a bar 20-30 minutes south of me that use to get National Blues acts every Wednesday evening. I was down there every Wednesday for about 10 years. I saw a lot of great shows there and met some really nice guys. 90% of the guys I saw there would come down in between sets and after the show and talk to you till the bar closed. One of the coolest things about Blues artists is most of them have no ego, they do it because they love it and are more than happy to just have a beer and talk about life.

Thanks Hammer. I'm going to try too :)

Yep, got all of Joe's albums and the 2 Black Country Communion albums. I haven't seen Joe yet (alone or with BCC) but I hope to one day. He's really developed as a player over the years. He went from straight blues to Eric Johnson style stuff to now playing hard rock riffs with BCC. I've got his Fuzz Face pedal and on a good day I cop some of his riffs and tone. I actually love his cover of Blind Faith's "Had To Cry Today". I did his version in a cover band I was playing with a couple years ago.

I've also loved Glenn Hughes since I first heard him in Deep Purple.

I think we've definitely got some common ground here :)
