Start writing short stories and stuff. Don't let anyone get in your way and don't let other people opinions bring you down.

You might also consider enrolling in film school. Check your library for books on screenwriting. I bought small bottles of Elmer's glue, filled 'em up with ketchup mixed with a little water so when my friend shot my brother with black powder blanks, my brother slammed his hand (holding the glue bottle in his palm) against his shoulder and WHAM, super spurt. Looked great on super 8.

Good luck with your dream. If you belive in your ideas strongly enough and are willing to SELF-SACRIFICE for your art your dream will become reality :)
