What Movie Would You Most Like To "rewatch" For The First Time

Simple. If given the choice to watch and experience a movie as if it were the first time you viewed it, what one would you choose, why?

Just because its on right now Id say The Matrix. After leaving the theater pretty much thought it was the most they would ever be able to do with a movie.

Plenty.

If just one - Psycho.

Definitely Jaws for me.

....I wonder if it would have as much impact on me these days as it did as a kid.

There's quite a few I could put on this list, but if you're making me choose just one.......Alien. Why Alien? Because I remember the first time I saw it I was on the edge of my seat, all scrunched up watching it.

First movie that I thought of when I saw this thread. I saw Jaws at the theater on its original run, and living in the "Ocean State" it had quite an impact on me. Every time I would go into the water that music would play in my head.

Just a fun movie with laughs and scares aplenty.

The Terminator.
Even if it was on late night TV with slightly shitty reception as it was when I was ?8-9?, I was damn near awestruck.
Terrified and totally into it at the same time.
Was like nothing I'd ever seen.

Great question.

Even though it's a TV show, I would love to go back and watch Twin Peaks for the first time again.
Movie? Maybe The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Same here. My dad had a crappy copy-of-a-copy VHS of that and I would watch it at least once a week when I was about 6 or 7. I don't remember ever seeing it for the first time. It's almost like I was born with seeing that movie. I'd love to be able to see it again for the first time.

Also, more recently, The Mist. I loved the crap outta that, especially with the punch-you-in-the-gut ending.

Great question!
