I'm excited for Christmas

So I've been busy as hell, and after being busy I got sick. Which happens EVERY time I take a vacation... anyway... I'm still excited for Christmas, what's every doing this year? Staying home getting drunk?

Or maybe going the the in-laws, working at a soup kitchen, or even trying to take over the world! You could dress up as Santa, but not the real Santa, more of a twisted Communist Santa with a purple beard and yellow contact lenses. Then you could fly around the world (or just run with your arms extended "WEEEEEEE!") and pretend to deliver gifts, but those gifts are really BOMBS! Just when all the timers count down (12:00 AM Christmas morn of course) and everybody is sobbing trying to deal with their mortality in such a short period of time, the bombs go off... and it's a Christmas song! Sure it's a terrible song, one that smacks of propaganda declaring how wonderful you are, but at least nobody dies. For that, they'll all thank you, and name you the supreme ruler OF THE UNIVERSE! You'll then get bored and go on to build the world largest Buckyball pyramid.

Or maybe you have other plans?

Looking forward to Christmas. We'll be having it here; me, my husband, my parents, my son, my daughter, and my daughter's fiancee. It's probably not as fun as it used to be when the children were little, but I still enjoy it.

I actually hate this time of year. My family has always been too small and insanly dysfunctional to enjoy the holidays. Couple that with my Ex-fiancees b-day being on the 27th and old anniversary on the 30th. Old memories and family insanity leaves me being grumpy enough to put Scrooge to shame.

VERY excited for Christmas.

Annual Sphynx Christmas card - Check.

This year I've actually taken all of the money that I usually spend on Christmas gifts and sent it to my friend Stephanie, a girl whom I graduated high school with and who has been recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She and her husband are having a difficult time paying the hospital bills, so I figured that she needed the money more than we needed more stuff. :D

For Christmas, we go to my boyfriend's family's house for brunch... I can personally take it or leave it, but I'm more looking forward to spending a nice, relaxing evening with my boyfriend and the kitties.

...

Freddy - Sorry that you hate this time of year. I totally get it... Maybe this will at least make you smile. :D

I don't celebrate Christmas. I'm not one of the haters, I just don't do it. I make a sacrifice in the name of Oden and Freja every winter solstice though and that's around Christmas.

Thats also a very noble thing you and your BF are doing for Xmas this year. I think more people in this world need your kinda heart, especially this time of year.

On the lighter side.....you have the coolest cats on the planet, hair or no hair.
Very cool Xmas card.
