YES - YOU CANT TELL A GOOD HORROR STORY WITHOUT A CENTRAL PROTAGONIST

SOUNDTRACK - IN THE PREPRODUCTION PHASE, FILMS DO NOT BECOME SCARY UNTIL THE SOUNDTRACK IS ADDED

HALLOWEEN (BY A MILE)

Why do you prefer it to the others?
SIGNS IS SCI FI, NOT HORROR. THE OTHERS JUST PLAIN SUCKED. 6TH SENSE IS GOOD, BUT ISN'T ANYWHERE NEAR AS REWATCHABLE AS HALLOWEEN.

Why do horrors scare you?
THEY DON'T. THEY ENTERTAIN ME.

DAYTIME NIGHTTIME

Why?
DOESN'T MATTER AS LONG AS THE FILM IS WELL MADE. I'VE SEEN GOOD HORROR FILMS SET IN THE DAYTIME AS WELL AS THE NIGHTTIME.

SHOW THE MONSTER

Why?
NOT SHOWING THE MONSTER IS GENERALLY A LOW BUDGET TRICK AND LOW BUDGET GENERALLY TRANSLATES TO LOWER QUALITY FX, ACTORS AND CREW AND THUS, A LOWER QUALITY FILM. THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS, BUT THIS IS A GENERALITY.
