Vampire Summer Reading: The Passage

Just heard a review on this on NPR last night - Gave it a really good review of it being a solid summer vampire read. Might pick it up in the near future. Thought I'd pass it along. I like that it's post-apocalyptic and that the vampires are pure monsters. Sounds a bit like I am Legend, but I found that the short story/novella left a lot to be desired. Also reminds me a bit of Stephen King's Cell...
