New zombie pic - The 4th Reich

Everybody is terribly excited about Shaun R. Smith’s zombie movie, The 4th Reich. They’ve been following its development closely over the past months and some great news has been disclosed.

British actor Jason Flemyng has signed up for a part in the movie!

The makers have also revealed that Scottish actor Martin Compston (Sweet Sixteen) has also signed on for a part.

Flemyng and Compston will be joining the likes of horror film legends Tom Savini, Doug Bradley and actor Sean Pertwee.

For those who haven’t yet heard of The 4th Reich, here’s the official synopsis:

Quote:
“An exaggerated story closely based on the consequences of the Third Reich’s disease testing experiments in Europe during World War 2. The 2nd Lincolnshire Batallion was one of many British divisions to land in Northern France on 6th June 1944 (D-day). It was their discovery that brought the world to its knees, and could spell the end of mankind. The 4th Reich is a wartime horror. A dark analysis into the effects of war and the Third Reich’s attempts to create a master race. Josef Mengele also known as the Angel of Death was the doctor and physician at Auschwitz. Historical facts state that he was researching the effects of disease during World War Two. Mengele and a Czechslovakian pediatrician called Berthold Epstien created a disease called NOMA, the conclusion of the research on NOMA is still unknown.

The research is the basis of our story.”
The 4th Reich begins filming in April.

Joseph Mengele and Epstein did not create the disease known as Noma. It is a gangrenous disease that they studied in the concentration camps.

Are you absolutely sure of that? After seeing some of the concentration camp photos I wouldn't bet on it.
