Death Valley

Now, here is a movie which I desperately want to acquire for my collection. Anyhow, for those who don't remember, it had little Peter Billingsly (from A Christmas Story) in it. Him and his Mother and Stepdad go to Death Valley and there is this weird fucker who is killing everybody. My favorite scene is where the fat baby-sitter keeps eating all of the kid's candy, and when she goes out to buy a banana split, the killer tempts her by plugging the Coke machine, which he is hiding behind. When she walks over to the machine to get her free Coke, and begins sipping on it, the killer grabs her from behind and slits her throat. During the struggle, the Coke and ice cream fly everywhere, including onto her. Basically, she dies with a banana split smashed all over the front of her shirt. LMAO! Awesome scene indeed.

Good movie!!

I am very ready for this one to hit DVD. I must have watched it 100 times when it ran on cable TV in the 80s. I have forgot parts of it now because it's been so long, but I know I really liked it.

I also have to throw this one into the creepy car category! Of course, I don't remember the car being in it much in the second half.

Creepy car? You must have this one confused with another movie. Death Valley is not about a haunted car, or anything like that.
