who?

seeing there is a lack of good horror movie directors around these days. Which "main stream" directors would you like to see direct a horror movie?
I would like see either clint eastwood or mel gibson who are two two of the best directors getting around these days. (just as long as it isn't a slasher). Something along the lines of supernatural or something like that.

Ridley Scott, he knows how to generate atmosphere and make a film look absolutely spot on.

Agreed. And Tim Burton's always good for a creep out. Sweeney Todd was enjoyable.

spike jonze - very smart director and beautiful fantasy cinematography - imagine him doing nightmare on elm street???
