It's a pretty cool device. What it appears to be doing is serving as an all purpose electronic studio/sequencer in the form of a tabletop. Each of the modules acts as a filter modifying a sound wave the way a basic synthesizer would. The way you position the modules in relation to each other and the way you twist them acts like the knobs and settings of the inputs would. It doesn't DO anything new- it just does it in a cool way. It'll be a great boon for those electronic artists and their audiences who complain that watching a guy sitting at a deck and a computer twiddling dials & typing on a computer is a pretty poor performance act.
