Le Manoir du diable(1896)

Okay, folks, I need your help. I'm looking for a copy of Georges Melies' 1896 short film "Le Manoir du diable". I've looked as far as I could for a copy and have failed. Do any of you know where this could be either viewed or purchased? Please let me know. Thanks.

That is so ironic, I was just thinking about this film. I did not know anyone even knew about this short. I, unfortunately, cannot be any of assistance, but maybe try you-tube, it is probably your best bet. I would love to see a copy of it myself.

This comes up ever so often. There is no way to see it. It's a lost film.

Yes, I know of no way of seeing it, but I am a big fan of Georges Melies and just wanted to do a shout-out to all his fans. One of the great pioneers of filmmaking and special effects! His influence is immeasurable.

You're right- it was another Melies film that we were discussing before.
