MP3 segmentation programs?

Say I wanna seperate and make an individual mp3 file containing portion 1:02-1:22 of an mp3....what would I use?
Reco's for free/easy to get applications would be cool.

You can do it on this site and you don't have to download anything...besides the extra mp3 file. It's actually a site used to make your own ringtones for cellphones, but the first step involves cutting down an mp3.

Just hit "make your own" at the top right, upload an mp3 and cut away.

V's is probably easier, but I thought I'd give you a back-up option. And, if you were planning on using this as a ringtone, this is the way to do it.

If you use iTunes, you can segment mp3's within iTunes.

I use Sony Vegas which is neither free or really designed for doing that but there ya go.

Yeah, I actually just switched to Verizon three days ago and am stuck with the same problemo. :)
