It's that time of the year again

Summer isnt officially over yet, but that doesnt stop the stores from stocking their shelves with Halloween decorations already. Bree and I are already stoked, we are already getting Lily's costume together (Emily Elizabeth this year, last year was Izzy from Grey's Anatomy) and without prompting, our intuitive little girl is already asking for halloween books for bedtime.

But here is what made it official: I got myself some Lovecraft books and already cracked them open. It has beena long time coming, but I am finally almost finished with Shadow Over Innsmouth. It has taken me over 2 years to get this far. Not that there is anything wrong with it, it is lovecraft, and is excellent, but i dont own any books with it, and life has managed to get in the way everytime i have tried. But that is about to change.
\

I will strip these books of every other story of his i dont aqlready have, then i will go over to my own books. Halloween = HP Lovecraft for me :)

sorry to disappoint you. Now that you mention it, i think the other thread had the exact same title. Well, if Paris Hilton can copyright "That's Hot" then i can claim ownership over the title :p

i will post some pictures later, but we have a monster pumpkin plant growing in our back yard. we stuck last year's pumpkins behind the fence, then left them there over the winter.

Once spring came around, we scooped their rotted corpses and flung them into the fenced in pile of leaves in our back yard. Now, we have 2 gigantic plants, one with small pumpkins, one with huge ones. (I call that one "Bree" ;))

I am so stoked for Halloween this year.

Im a bit too old to trick or treat (im 32), but i have 2 year old who happens to be adorable and is the kind of kid who will ask for a second candy bar from the cool hopuses that give out full sized candy. And she gets it :)

And you cant let a little kid eat all that candy by themselves, its bad for them and i would be a horrible father if i didnt relieve her of some :D

I don't trick or treat,we are the cool house that gives the good candy:)My kids go and i go along.I think its still as much fun watching them as it is to go when you are a kid:)I don't dress up in a costume anymore either, unless i go to a party.I'm already in the Halloween spirit;)

I've been working the past two months to get ready for my monthlong celebration of Halloween on NeverEndingWonder Radio. I'm trying to get some really special surprizes for listeners this year.
