Variety reports that a movie adaptation - described as a modern take on Sleepy Hollow - of Martin Shapiro's Chopper is in the works from Dilemma, who also produced the prequel web series starring Tyler Mane and Andrew Bryniarski.

The comic tells the story of a supernatural headless biker named The Reaper, who seeks vengeance in the afterlife. There are beheadings, motorcycles, drug-peddling cheerleaders - all that lovely stuff.

"Ultimately, the neverending viability of the horror genre combined with the exploding interest in shows like 'Sons of Anarchy' made my decision to bring our title character to life a no-brainer -- pardon the pun," said the writer/director of the web series, and the man who will work on the script for the movie with Shapiro, J.C. Christofilis.

It reminded me of a comic I read as a kid but he had a head. It was like a heavy metal dude with a bad attitude and had the hook thing. I wanna say it was called like hobard or something.
