commentary
down and out with a bad back i just had a nice little marathon of watching horror movies and listening to the commentaries. it's a great way to watch movies you've seen a thousand times and make them feel fresh. in order i watched/listened to:
"blair witch" (pretty interesting), "cabin fever" (there's a bunch on this film, i listened to eli's solo one and found it highly entertaining and informative), "wrong turn" (just okay, had it's moments), "sleepaway camp" (pretty good), "night of the demons" (had some interesting points but mostly the director and producers just tooted their own horns about how great their movie was). shortly i'm gonna watch/listen to the "cheerleader camp" commentary and if i manage to stay awake i'm gonna check out "final destination 2." does anyone have any favorite commentaries i should check out? this back injury is sure to have me laid up for a few more days so i could use plenty of suggestions. thanks oh and BTW, i've already heard the commentaries on the holy evil dead trilogy which i'm sure many of you would probably recommend. |

You should watch "Joy ride" with the casts commentary. ;)
Not informative what so ever, but good insane fun.

I’d make poison darts out of the poison of the deadly frogs. One milligram of that poison can kill a monkey. Or a man. Prick yourself and you’d be dead within a day. Or longer. Different frogs, different times.” - Gareth from The Office “Life is just a series of peaks and troughs. And you don’t know whether you’re in a trough until you’re climbing out, or on a peak until you’re coming down. And that’s it you know, you never know what’s round the corner. But it’s all good. ‘If you want the rainbow, you’ve gotta put up with the rain.’ Do you know which philosopher said that? Dolly Parton. And people say she’s just a big pair of tits.” - David Brent |

Avoid anything by Roger Corman at all costs. Havnt watched a full commentary by him, suffered through about half of Pit and the Pendulum...he was putting me to sleep. He makes damn good movies, but he shouldnt be alowed to comment on 'em:p

Iv never seen a movie ever with commentary, But I should. First one I'll watch is probably Quinton Tarintino flick's, I figuer those should be interesting to listen too. Im gonna keep away from any Ron Howard, imagin how boring he would be :p
