Another H.R related question

I mean Human Resources, not Giger...

So I passed my initial excel/personality profile/and aptitude testing, got through to the second stage interview.

Pausing there for a moment.

There's a third stage which I find kind've weird....a couple days after the interview there's an "individual presentation", fucked if I know what THAT is.

But back to step #2. The Interview.
Anyone who's worked in/around HR, what would I expect from the interview?
What's some info I could look up to better equip myself?
What kind've questions would likely be fired?
What is important to the role, for me to know?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Fuck I hate H.R and recruitment, why are you going for that?

The individual presentation would just be a selling of your soul....

Not entirely corporate, the position is more of a trainee thing while working cross contract with my current role predominately.

That pretty much applies to ANY interview...I hate 'em...but yeah, trying to do some research between then and now so that I don't go in completely unarmed.

Lets just say that whole industry pissed me off. I still cook a lot and learn on my own, got to "caterer". But it's just, more fun as an "interest" for me, something that might be lost if I made it work.

What's the position for?

Most commonly asked questions on an interview:
  • Why are you the perfect candidate for this job?
  • What are your major strengths?
  • What are your major weaknesses?
  • Name a time in your past (job, school, eduction, prior experience) where you were faced with a challenge. How did you handle that situation?
  • What experiences do you have that make you qualified for this job?
  • What is your 5-year plan? Or, where do you see yourself in 5 years?

add,

When was a specific time you worked to meet targets and how did you acomplish it..

when was a specific time you helped someone in your team and how did you go about it..

Interviews are bullshit.. They will check yourfacebook or any profiles you have online as well... I have been interviewing recruiters for the past week and 90% do it..
