Ipod, Quick question?

What type of cable do you use to connect an ipod to a pc?

I borrowed the ipod from the cafe I work in to put some playlists on it, the music on it at the moment is god awfull.

But I am used to my mp3 player which plugs straight into usb, I totally forgot about this being different.

Is just a simple av plug, like from a stereo?

Is that not the power supply.... IT's the same cord, cool....

Also how do I unlock it?

I sound like a dumbshit, don't I...

I remember going to a party last year, and me and my mate went to play with the music, but they had an ipod, never of us new how to use it, we felt like we were from the stone age, to used to vinyl and cd at our partys...

I don't think so because I have an iPod and it works on my PC. As for unlocking it, there should be a little switch on it.

So, what I mean is this cable I have, it is for the power pack, obviously it's a different one to connect it to the pc....

Can I do it with an av cable though?

What about this, could I transfer (sync) a playlist from my mp3 player to the ipod with an av cable?
