Found this site about 3 days ago, did a google search and for horror and forum and here I am... Look forward to hearing interesting in sharing and hearing from other people who like disturbing, hilarious, and, entertaining horror elements.

What made you do a search for horror? Do you love horror films? Do you like film in general? What scares you? You really give us nothing to go on here Jimmey.

I love films and find all genres entertaining. I remember coming home from a party many years ago when I was in high school ( a few drinks in me) and I was home alone and the movie Angel Heart was on... I watched it and it freaked the hell out of me. It was then that I really got hooked on the power of film to affect one's mood.

I find the unknown or unseen to be scary, example Alien, you really don't get to see the full creature till near the end of the movie.

I also like strong characters like the killer in No Country for Old Men.

how was No Country for Old Men?

I really enjoyed it. I had a few problems with the film, but overall it would still be my pick for best picture.

I also enjoyed There Will Be Blood and feel that Daniel Day-Lewis is a shoe in for best actor, course you never know with the oscars.
