Clock Tower

Anyone looking forward tot he Clock Tower movie coming out? What are your favorite parts of the game that you hope make it into the film?

I was up for this job, even wrote a wacky treatment for it. But it's probably a good thing I didn't get this job, as I hate video games and really hate movies adapted from video games.

It is a good thing you didn't. The problem with movies based on games is that directors and writers who don't know or like the games get the jobs to put them on the big screen.

You have probably done fans of the game a great service by not taking it.

Those of us that do like games are sick of people who know nothing about them making shitty adaptions. Doom had a perfectly simple plot that would have translated beautifully into a nice, straight-forward action horro rmovie.

Instead, we got Duane Johnson fighting Eormir.... A fist fight in DOOM...

First. Person. SHOOTER.

Barely including the BFG in a doom movie was like making a video game out of the first 3 (in real life, not movie timeline) star wars movie where darth vader has a short walk on appearance...

Smart man, Boll ist gut. Alone in the dark was good adaption, postal is genius.
