He's been "working on that one" for quite a while and I don't see him getting to it for quite a while...but he does have a new film in the works...MINE!!!!!
We just went out to casting directors and are talking with actors right now. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it:D

But seriously, my writing partner and I wrote the lead role of our latest script specifically for Russell waaaay before we knew that JC would direct it. Casting is always tricky and it usually boils down to scheduling, so we'll see what happens. But hanging out in JC's office is cool. Little MacReady and Snake Plissken figurines all over and quite a few versions of Micheal Myers as well. My favorite trinket I've seen in there is a Chinese food take-out box that says "Big Trouble in Little China" on it. I just know it's full of something cool, but I haven't been nerdy enough to ask or ballsy enough to just pick it up and examine it properly.
