Hot Fuzz - go for the laughs, stay for the gore!

All right, I know...not horror.

But there is quite a bit of gore - and it's wonderfully executed gore! For anyone living under a rock, Hot Fuzz is yet another hilarious collaboration between Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, the madmen who brought you the television series Spaced and the feature Shaun of the Dead (and the phony trailer for Don't in Grindhouse). This time they're skewering the buddy cop flick - and what a skewering it is. The writing is spot-on, the directing is sure-handed, the acting is awesome and the gore...my god the gore!!!!!!

It lags a bit in the middle 20 minutes, but the finale is awe-inspiring lunacy that gets very wet.

Go see this one!!!!!!!

I loved Shaun of the dead and Hot Fuzz was a must see for me. Really enjoyed Hot Fuzz. The gore was unexpected but excellent. The crazy plot well done with fantastic scenes. It gets my vote, a must see film. Just like Shaun of the dead I could watch it over and over again for the laughs.

I couldn't agree more! One the funniest movies i've seen in a long while, loved all the little nods and winks they crammed in,and the climax is insane!

excellent film with great actors. Possibly one of the few British made films lately that has entertained people in other countries. I love the battle of somerfield and the ending.

Excellent movie, I laughed all along! A bit less unique than Shaun of the Dead perhaps, but I think it's even funnier. And the gory moments are just so outrageous. Everyone that loved Shaun of the Dead should see this without a doubt.

I loved this movie. Anything those boys do makes me happy. So funny and the gore in Hot Fuzz was way to good. I had to find it online just to show my brother some of the gorey parts. I highly reccomend this movie.

I wanted to Love this movie as much as "Shaun"....but it didn't quite do it for me.Sure it was well written and acted, with some good gore and a couple of laugh out loud moments......but I think Simon Pegg's character was just too serious for most of the movie, and for me it took some of the fun out of it.

7/10

hey its just my opinion........don't get all cranky at me.
