Happy Feet

Can someone please explain to me why this movie beat Cars at the Oscars & kids choice awards? And everyone says this movie is really good. I just saw it & it was just a bunch of dancing & singing penguins. Cars should have beat this movie by a long shot.

The only part of the movie I liked was the mexican penguins...
They got annoying after awhile.

I didn't really like Cars either...

My kids will watch The Muppets, Labyrinth, and old Disney movies.
No crappy new stuff.
Hell, they'll watch all the classic black & white horrors too.

Nothing wrong with that.
Didn't so me any harm. :p

Ok now I gotta ask... Why didn't you like Cars? Everyone's entitled to their opinion & I'm just curious cuz I loved Cars.

I loved Cars. Great animation, great voices, great storyline...Pixar gives me hope in the future of Disney.

Neither Cars nor Happy Feet were as good as A Scanner Darkly. Seems like all the animation awards are skewed towards family friendly animation
