any Military Moms out there??

I'm a Navy mom....my older son is stationed in Key West,FL.

His family is in San Diego,CA.

What branch of the Service are your kids in?

Where are they stationed?

I'm not in the military & I don't have kids, but I do know a few people serving our country right now. One of my best friends is in the Navy and on his 2nd tour in Afghanistan & my cousins husband (Would that be my cousin-in-law?) just got discharged from the Army after 5 years & 3 tours in Iraq. (He was on the very first wave that went in, when we took over Baghdad Airport.) Be glad your son is still stateside. My buddy joined the Navy thinking that he'd be on a ship all the time and out of harm's way, but he's more or less a ground infantry soldier now in Afghanistan. (Not exactly what he bargained for, but he's got less than a year left until he's done so hopefully he can ride it out.)
