What Horror DVDs do you think offer the best use of Dolby Digital or DTS?

Nightmare on Elm Street Collection
The Thing
House on Haunted Hill (Remake)

Although there are a lot of Dolby Digital horror DVDs, I haven't really noticed that many where the DD stood out. Even some of the re-mastered movies like Halloween or Evil Dead don't make that much use or the rear speakers. The Nightmare Series however, did a great job re-mastering the DD.

What do you think?

The Blair Witch Project, hate it or not, uses 5.1 surround very effectively. I only noticed it during the scenes at night when they hear sounds moving around the tent... very very subtle, just enough to make the audience feel like they are in the tent.

It's especially effective because the film is supposed to look like unedited Hi-8/16mm footage, which doesn't have surround sound, so the audience is very surprised.

"The Fog", "Suspiria", "Day of The Dead" , and "The Frightners" all have great sound, soundtracks, and range.

This really only comes into play with the newer, big budget horror movies, and even a lot of those don't properly utilize the Dolby Digital/ Dolby Surround systems.

The only one that I can think of off of the top of my head that really struck me as having great sound quality, along with top notch sound positioning, is House On Haunted Hill.
