That was pretty cool man.

The dancing tripod was my favourite.

Hey! It's sort of like Art Clokey meets Dawn of the Dead!

A HUGE amount of work went into it, and it's a lot of fun. Great stuff.

For your first try at stop-animation, I think you did pretty good. I know how hard stop-animation can be, having done it before and having to be very concerned with the continuity. The tripod was very nice by the way, and the lighting on that scene was well done.

My only gripe was that it lacked any cohesion. The scenes were really random--legos, clay, hands, electrical cords, etc. There was just nothing that really pulled it all together.

Perhaps next time, think about what direction you want to go in and stick with it. I think that would give you a better end result. Also, think about your lighting and camera angles, just a variance in these can add a lot.

Good luck with your next piece!

Kick ass, dude! Are you still experimenting, or are you gonna try to do a scripted story next?

BTW, it looked like some parts were filmed in front of some type of blue screen...were you planning on adding some background?

I was actually doing some more experimenting, just this time the frame rate is about twice as quick, so it moves real smooth, but it takes twice as many frames. I had kinda left my newest project a week ago, the set had kept falling apart, but im going to set up in my attic where the light is perfect for a creepy atmoshere. thats a good idea though, i think il try to make the next one more story-oriented.

That was a blue screen btw, but i wasnt really gonna do anything with it. My buddy's better at me at the special effects type stuff. I need some tutorial on that.
