The Mothmans presents...."Blah"
here it its folks. my first stop animation production. (once again with an awful name) it took about a week and has around 3000 frames....i hope you enjoy it.

glad someone appreciated the tripod.....you have no idea in hell how long that took to do. im currently in the process of doing a second one, its not very far along though. |

For your first try at stop-animation, I think you did pretty good. I know how hard stop-animation can be, having done it before and having to be very concerned with the continuity. The tripod was very nice by the way, and the lighting on that scene was well done.
My only gripe was that it lacked any cohesion. The scenes were really random--legos, clay, hands, electrical cords, etc. There was just nothing that really pulled it all together. Perhaps next time, think about what direction you want to go in and stick with it. I think that would give you a better end result. Also, think about your lighting and camera angles, just a variance in these can add a lot. Good luck with your next piece! |

Kick ass, dude! Are you still experimenting, or are you gonna try to do a scripted story next?
BTW, it looked like some parts were filmed in front of some type of blue screen...were you planning on adding some background?
