The 80's were the best decade.

I'm having a craving for some 80's pop culture. The 80's were the shit, I love that time period!

It's a shame that there are no books from the 80's available, or beter yet TV Shows from the 80's on DVD! That would be almost as good as being able to find millions of internet sites that are dedicated to the 80's with music videos, stars, and fashion all highlighted. Oh memories, you're all I have. Even downloading 80's songs or... hell... I'd even settle for a Grand Theft Auto game being set in the 80's. :(

The 80's in general were great, especially the movies and the ridiculous styles. I just think that this decade had the most personality, if that makes any sense.

I wasn't born in the eighties but i have always said if i could have been born in another time period it would be the 70's so I could enjoy the eighties at ther full.

I love the 80s too. I have been trying to find The Wonder Years on DVD for months. I have found one sketchy site that sells burned cds it's wierd.

I listen to 80s music the most, it's great. It was so different. The styles were horrendous for sure but great at the same time. And of course as Dave said the horror/slasher flicks were the best. They just don't make em the same anymore.

Now, my own personal experience of the 80's was a tremendous amount of fun. I could go on describing it unendingly, all the weird, wild, crazy things.

I started listing some of it but really, beginning to describe it doesn't describe it. But I recall the air really seemed fresh back then...especially early on a fine Saturday morning on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood...roaming around with friends, looking in all the weird stores, passing by the bakery with the delicious donuts and coffee.
