The perfect horror

so what would you class as the perfect horror film.

Personally there is no film that has been perfect but the closest to perfection must have been 'suspiria' a true masterpiece.

hmmm, perfect horror, well, not a single movie nowadays
some old movies are really good, but to say an ultimate horror

excorcist, night of the living dead (original black and white)
I mean, back than they were awesome movies

i think the original TCM was pretty close. The exorsist as stated above would probably be the most popular answer.
