Question About Posting Screenplays
To Anyone Who Cares To Answer,
I have several screenplays that i've written (Jason XII, XII, XIV, Halloween 9, Poltergeist 4, and Freddy Vs. Jason II) and i would love to share them but i was wondering what the best forum section would be. I checked out the fiction area and it seemed kinda quiet. So where shall I put them if anyone wants to even read them that is. HodderFan2004

Jason XII Script - (Post 1) First Few Scenes
I guess that wouldn't be a bad idea. So ... here goes. My Jason XII script. Copyright 2004 by Arthur R. Phillips
- It was a dark and stormy night ... just kidding ... here goes - FADE IN : EXT. FIREPIT - NIGHT We fade in close on a roaring camp fire at night. A group of teens are gathered around the fire and there's plenty of drinks and drugs going around. CHUCK is the first to speak. He's a young, blonde "All American" type of kid with a trust fund and looks that would cause any girls panties to involuntarily drop to their ankles. CHUCK Bullshit, Jason Voorhees is fucking dead and even if he were alive, which he's not, the motherfuckers gotta be in his what sixties ?. ALI is a modern goth-girl with the dark clothes, hair and lipstick. She's puffing on a cigarette and attempting to look angry. ALI What the fuck do you know ? CHUCK Hey i know that there's not some fucking geriatric psycho running around the goddamn woods with a machete ALI I notice you bought your father's hunting rifle CHUCK For bears ALI (mocking) Bears ? CHUCK (getting angry) Yeah bears JEROME is a young, African-American male with muscles, looks and killer smile. He's dressed for sitting around a campfire at night. His girlfriend APRIL is sitting, snuggled next to him. She's a gorgeous African-American girl who's also bundled in warm camping clothes. JEROME Why don't you two shut the fuck up ? APRIL Yeah c'mon guys we're supposed to be enjoying ourselves out here CHUCK Hey i'm attempting to have an intelligent conversation here guys ALI Oh Jesus CHUCK Listen Morticia ALI (getting up, angry) Oh fuck you asshole CHUCK Oh and where the fuck do you think you're going ? ALI Well i'm going where you're supposed to be right now football boy, Amanda's all alone back at the cabin unpacking bags, without our help, and i don't like the idea of her being alone CHUCK Do you actually have a brain ?, cause i've known you for four years and i still don't know the answer to that ALI Eat me CHUCK Eat yourself ALI What and make all men completely obsolete ?, you can sit here all goddamn night and get stoned if you want, some of us have work to do CHUCK Up until you started with this Jason shit i believe that's exactly what you were doing as well ALI Yeah well i'm getting cold, and what makes you so sure of yourself ?, what makes you so confident, it can't be daddy's trust fund CHUCK Fuck you bitch ALI Hey all i'm saying is for, twenty years now something has been walking around these woods, if you ask me opening this camp was just a bad idea CHUCK Why are you here then ? ALI I needed the money CHUCK So you don't mind there's a serial killer in the woods as long as you can make a little extra cash, well at least we know your hearts in the right place ALI Fuck you ALI walks off. APRIL I think i'm gonna head back too, tomorrow the kiddies arrive, it's gonna be a long day (to JEROME) You coming ? JEROME No i think i'm gonna hang around here with football boy APRIL (getting up) Alrighty then, play nice boys, watch out for Jason CHUCK Jason Voorhees can go fuck his dead mother APRIL walks off as CHUCK and JEROME watch amused. CHUCK Now, i suppose you're going to tell me that you believe this shit ? JEROME What shit ? CHUCK This Jason shit JEROME Well CHUCK (interrupting) Oh for fuck sake JEROME Hey i didn't say anything did i ?, but i suppose anything is fucking possible CHUCK Yeah well except for this, i mean, c'mon, he's dead, don't you read the goddamn papers ? JEROME Yeah CHUCK And ? JEROME And i don't believe everything i read CHUCK Oh for fuck sake JEROME Why are so against believing, that, he might be out there ?, i mean seriously, we don't know everything CHUCK How about we change the subject ? JEROME Fine with me CUT TO: EXT. COUNSELORS CABIN - MOMENTS LATER We have a wide and establishing shot of the counselors cabin. It's two floors, several windows on the front, a small front yard area and a path that leads down to the lake. The sounds of nighttime nature are here and it's all very pleasant. CUT TO: INT. KITCHEN - MOMENTS LATER AMANDA is using a carpet cutter to undo boxes of t-shirts with the words "Camp Evergreen" emblazoned on them. She cuts open a box, pulls out a pile of shirts and places them on the kitchen counter next to the box. The kitchen itself is a very modern design and it's obvious that the entire camp and it's cabin's have been given a modern update fitting to 2003.The kitchen, and the living room are separated only by tile in the kitchen and carpeting in the living area. A staircase heads upstairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. The living room contains a wicker chair, a sofa, a large entertainment center and a coffee table with various magazines on it. The kitchen has a large fridge, a large stove, a small table and chairs and a microwave. ALI walks in and closes the door behind her. takes a drag of her cigarette and leans on the door. AMANDA looks up. She's a simple girl with neat brunette hair, a loose pair of jeans, and a simple blue sweater. AMANDA (to Ali) Are you okay ? ALI (entering the kitchen) Chuck is a complete fucking asshole ALI hops on the counter. AMANDA (smiling) You two never did get along ALI What do you see in him ?, he must great in the sack AMANDA (embarrassed) Well ... ALI Ah ha !, i knew it. AMANDA You know you're not supposed to smoke in the cabins ALI Who's gonna tell ? APRIL enters and throws her coat on the sofa. She heads for the kitchen and leans against the fridge. ALI Hey April APRIL Chuck is an asshole, a complete fucking asshole i don't know if i'm gonna be able to cope with him all summer long i swear he's gonna drive me nuts ALI We've already established that Chuck's an asshole, lucky for you you're not the one who's fucking him AMANDA continues to unpack the box of shirts and when she gets to the bottom of the box she stares into it slightly puzzled. ALI (to Amanda) What ? AMANDA reaches into the box and pulls out a smaller box containing a Quija board. ALI What the fuck ? APRIL What is it ? ALI A Quija board APRIL (interested) You're kidding ALI takes the box from AMANDA's hands. ALI Wow, a Quija board hey, wanna see if it works ? AMANDA Play with a Quija board at Camp Crystal Lake ?, uh i- ALI (interrupting) Camp Evergreen AMANDA Yeah whatever APRIL (to Amanda) You don't believe that Jason bullshit, i mean you don't believe the fucker's still alive somewhere out there ? ALI I believe it APRIL Yeah i saw the happy little debate you and Chuck were having, but you know i mean seriously Chuck does have a point, i mean even if Jason were alive, he's like majorly old ALI I'm sure a lot of people thought he was no longer a threat AMANDA (absently) Yeah and they're all dead ALI hands the board back to AMANDA. AMANDA(CONT.) Maybe we should put it away. ALI goes and takes the board from AMANDA. ALI How about you both get the sticks outta your asses and we have a little fun AMANDA I resent that you think there's a stick up my ass, this is just a little creepy, i mean, c'mon, a Quija board ?, where the fuck did it come from ?, what the fuck is it doing here, especially here of all places ALI Who the fuck cares ? AMANDA I'm just saying it's a little strange APRIL Everything about this place is a little strange don't you think ?, c'mon Amanda, let's have a little fun ALI Well then, let's see if we can raise the fucking dead The girls share a smile and head into the living room. CUT TO: INT. LIVING ROOM - MOMENTS LATER The girls are now sitting around the Quija board. AMANDA is sitting on the sofa, and APRIL and ALI are sitting on the rug across from the coffee table. APRIL Does it come with instructions ? ALI Oh for God sakes you Quija board virgins APRIL Oh you've done this before ? ALI Once APRIL When ? ALI When i was five APRIL Oh great so were working with a professional ALI Eat my ass April APRIL Maybe later, so okay Miss. Professional what exactly do we do ? ALI Well first off you, and Amanda APRIL Why us ? AMANDA Yeah why us ? ALI Well i do know it's not suggested that it be just one person, it has to be at least two, and there's three of us so one of us has to be the one who runs away when the first of the living dead burst through the door APRIL Har-de-fucking-har ALI Would you two just put your fingers on the message indicator so we can get to the part where Jason storms into the cabin and cuts our heads off please ? APRIL Fine, Amanda ? AMANDA Are you guys sure we should do this ? ALI What harm can it do ? APRIL Famous last words, okay then -- TO BE CONTINUED after this portion gets a few responses/remarks/suggestions/daggers so on so forth -- HodderFan2004
