Regeneration is a lot of fun, the other two I really didn't get into.

The only one that Ive played is Regeneration, but it was a great time. The gameplay itself was pretty repetitive, but I enjoyed it.

I think "hail to the king", the first one on ps1 and dreamcast was a little too dofficult for its own good, and for this reason, it took me a while to get into it.
I still can't say I enjoyed the constantly respawning badguys in exactly the same place every time, and I found the combat system a little dodgy. Hard game, but it had atmosphere going for it, and the scenes most closely resembled the films...the storyline wasn't great, but decent, and the game had some interesting ideas and bosses. For a survival horror, it wasn't bad...but could've been better.
I liked the time travel element, that was cool.

The second one, fistfull of boomstick, I think I liked a little more, mainly because the combat was a lot better. The storyline was pretty weak, and further from the films...didn't quite have the evil dead "feel" about it, felt a bit like a sequel from a director that hadn't seen the originals, but it was a pretty decent game all and all. Some of the puzzles were a little irritating (that museum thing? just annoying) and felt out of place in this otherwise arcadey game...the one-liners were fun for a while, but got old. But yeah, loved the combat system, and all in all it was an alright game.

I played the third one on ps2 for just a while, and I have to say, I just wasn't feeling it...turned it off before ever getting out of the hospital thing.
Looked ok, but just didn't grab me.

If there were a combination of the first two games though, I'm sure that'd be great...all in all, what I've seen isn't bad, but all come with their individual dissapointments. I'm up for an ED "sequel" fps/rpg, now that'd be fun.
