A thread for Heavy stuff...
So what heavy stuff have you been digging on recently, be it death, hardcore, grind or just plain old metal?

Just here lately, Agalloch's Ashes Against the Grain and My Dying Bride's A Line of Deathless Kings have been in constant rotation. Both great new records. If any of you guys have any interest in doom or folk metal, I'd recommend them.

There's this band Dethklok that I've heard a couple songs from. The songs are short and kinda weird (it sounds like they're singing about coffee in one of them), but it's pretty good

Anyway, I just popped in At the Gates' Slaughter of the Soul for the first time in years. Damn... that record is a monster. I can't figure out how it escaped my regular rotation. So... about Soulseek. I've heard a lot of great things about it, but I'm very wary of direct connect style programs. Is that how Soulseek works? If any of you guys could fill me in, I'd appreciate it.
