Old oversized box horror flicks

Hey guys, first post. Ive been putting this off for awhile.

Anyhow, does anybody remember from their teen years the old horror movies in the oversized boxes? I remember in my late teens we had a movie rental place called Diaco video here in Chicago. I believe there were a few of them. Might have been before the time of Blockbuster.

I remember going through the horror aisle and renting many movies that ended up being very silly. However one movie was so disturbing I couldnt watch it, and I can watch just about anything.

Ive been searching for that movie for years.

It was about a young guy who had sexual delusions about his mother. Used to hide in her closet, watch her undress and have sexual relations with men she brought home. He was also a homicidal maniac spurred on by his sexual dysfunction. He was quite literally hang women on hooks and cut them apart. Doing horrible things to them sexually while torturing them.

It was no doubt made on a small budget, however was profoundly disturbing in its imagery more than anything.

Does anybody know of a site where I might search for old movies in those oversized boxes, that to me on average were more disturbing that todays movies??

Ive googled a ton and cant find anything. Ive never been able to shake the memory of that film. I dont think I will until I find out the title and possibly finish watching it.
