Pumpkinhead A Go-Go
You know, I thought Pumkinhead was way underrated. The story is cool, the monster is great in the way that the more it grows the more it looks like the man who called it, and it actually freaked me out a little... I thought that it was cool the way the monster grows out of a corpse instead of a living person....does anybody else have an opinion? I especially loved the whole Appalacian witch slant to it....

Considering they're doing a remake on this one as well .... (ugh!). I'll give it a viewing this week and have an opinion soon after. I haven't seen it in ages.

Pumpkinhead was cool...the story resembled Friday the 13th somewhat as to the origin of the creature...but the treatment was good...and the deaths were nice...
Hopefully they do justice to the remake...

They're remaking the original Pumpkinhead? What the hell was wrong with the first one? I mean, Lance Henriksen, blood, a scary monster and a witch.....how can you go wrong with that? Poor Lance....he'll probably play the corpse in the new one...
Rotten bastards. |

Oh my god, I just checked out the thread on the Pumpkinhead sequels coming out....Lance Henriksen is in them as the ghost of Ed Harley....damn them.....I knew one way or the other he'd be a corpse....

Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes
The story centers around Doc Frasier an eccentric small-town physician with a sideline in unauthorized organ donation. - The character "Bunt" from the first film (the teenager who led Harley to the witch) will be in this film as a man. - Doug Bradley will play "Doc Fraser," a respected small town doctor and coroner who's been playing a little fast and loose with the corpses at the crematorium. - Produced by Motion Picture Corporation of America (Pumpkinhead 2, Riding the Bullet). - Actor Lance Henricksen (lead of the original Pumpkinhead) will have a brief cameo appearance as a ghost. - Premiering on the SciFi Channel. - This will film back-to-back with Pumpkinhead 4. - British director Jake West also worked on Razor Blade Smile and most recently, Evil Aliens. - This is a direct sequel to the first film; ignoring the sequel that came out in 1994.
