Think back...

So I was watching Neverending story, and I got to thinking...decided to post this.

What are your top 5 fantasy films you grew up with?
They could be animated or live action, either is ok.
Try to think back...to a time the flaws of these films didn't show quite so much, to a time they were still magical to you, when you still got thrilled and watched, on the edge of your seat...Don't think of how you see them now, adulthood brings about prejudice against something you once enjoyed. think say when you were aged between 5-10....what were yours?
This should be interesting to see what some of our older members say, compared to some of those younger than me...

Mine, in no particular order:

*Labyrinth
*The Last Unicorn
*The Neverending Story
*Caravan of Courage - Nope, no ewok hatred here.
*Willow

(The Black Cauldron, Ladyhawke and DragonSlayer gotta get honourable mentions...loved those too...)

- B

Mary Poppins
Fantasia
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
The Wizard of Oz

That's all I can think of. As you can tell, I'm older than a lot of you! BTW, I STILL love to watch Mary Poppins! :D

Don't know if I have a top five really but it would be a big list to pick from with a lot of movies that have been included and a ton I'm sure I've forgotten.

Mary Poppins
Fantasia
The Wizard of Oz
Labyrinth
The Neverending Story
Willow
Black Cauldron
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Clash of the Titans
The Dark Crystal
Used to watch the Star Wars tapes a lot too and my dad had me watch Wrath of Khan with him a lot too.
Bishop's Wife, watched this classic probably 500 times before I turned 10.

Dragonheart.

Or that movie with the kid who visits his aunt and uncle in england, and there's a dragon there or something, and they live in a castle.

That movie always frightened me a little... not as much as the remake though.
