I enjoyed "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" quite a bit. I thought it was like "The Twilight Zone"--about two-thirds of the episodes were okay and not bad; and about a third of the episodes were great. I watched it every week hoping to see one of the good episodes. Some of it was pretty scary!

Tales from the Crypt was too good. I have the first and second seasons on DVD, the third is coming out in March :D

Way better than Masters of Horror imo

My kids have been renting the Goosebumps and they are so enjoyable.
And I agree with all the shows listed,I do truly wish they would bring them back.
As far as the Outer Limits series-
They need to turn down the background music,it's always so hard to hear the dialogue without causing hearing damage.
I don't remember that being a problem when they orignally aired.

I agree with all of these, especially "Are You Afraid of the Dark?". I loved that show when I was a kid (and still do). My favorite episode is the one where the prankster teen goes into a carnival ride (it was a mix between a walk-in rollercoaster and the house of mirrors) and steals this clown prop's red nose. But, this clown wasn't as fake as the prankster thought, because soon the clown started stalking the prankster in creepy ways. It scared the shit out of me when I was a kid! I could've sworn I seen that clown everywhere I went. Loved it!

Too many shows cut short...can't say I've seen much of goosebumps, 'cept for one episode set in a camp that was rather interesting, with a nice twist at the end...Tales from the crypt, ans twilight zone all had pretty decent runs though, and are likely to come back again (at least, tales from the crypt does that)...but all the same, many shows never get the run they deserve.

Like:
The Nowhere man
Tru Calling
Alien Nation (fuck you fox)
Spider-man (2004 MTV version)
Firefly (fuck you again, fox)
...Can't think of any more right now (just woke up), but I know that time and again I've seen good shows go down on account of networks assfucking them, then there's the ones that just disspear, which also sucks.

The only series I can say that felt complete after only a years worth of episodes would be "American Gothic", superb show, with such a well resolved ending. I guess, that's the difference when you PLAN to end something.

I completely agree with Tales From The Crypt. The others are ok, but I never even heard of the Goosebumps show. Maybe cuz for 1, my little brother was all into the goosebumps. I read a couple of his books, cuz yes I did judge a book by its cover. The Goosebump movies I thought were blah, ( well after all it was geared toward little kids) was the show anything like the movies?
