Arrow The Wipers

I've heard them described as Black Flag meets The Velvet Underground. Not a bad comparision I thought. I've been listening to their album Is This Real a lot latley. One of Kurt Cobain's favorites (Nirvana cover their song D7). Anyone else dig this fuckin' dope band? (You better or you suck :p )

Maybe he could, depends on how he lives. I have a friend, 26 years old, divorced and has a little girl....He makes about 20 bucks an hour, but lives at home with pops...and ALL he does is read about music no one has ever heard of, and buys the albums...So his $700 a week paycheck goes to cd's, dvd's, and car insurance.

Oh yeah...never heard The Wipers

You'd probably like 'em I think...... I'll copy you some one day if you're keen + Dead Moon cause I think you'll dig them too.

I've owned the a lot of the shit I've mentioned on here for ages. Its not like I went out and brought a shitload of albums this week. I do blow a lot of $ on shit like that but I've got friends who run small distros so a lot of LPs I get are really cheap. Plus I've got a stack of copied shit.

Had to bump this thread cause it got off on the wrong foot and I'm listening to these guys right now.

Underbelly Concious Peace Choas..... Fugwazi (as Eddie Vedder wrote on his brand new shoes, yeh I remeber that) tone.

I started this thread sounding like a asshole without just sayin that this band rocks.

But yeh a band that drove a lot of people away from the brink.
