the game rules, the movie isn't all bad, just it's to mainstream, but okay, it's a good movie nontheless

I can't think of other movies that were based on games that were good
I kinda liked mortal kombat though, lol, the johny cage vs scorpio scene rules

Yeah, that film was so stupid it was fun. Go Mario Brothers!

Clue

Anybody remember the movie "Clue?
Three endings--based on the board game--but maybe more mystery than horror. Still one of my favorites.

ok, well, for games turned movies, I think all of them have been pretty lame, mortal kombat sucked, mk2 sucked harder, street fighter im not even gonna comment on, I liked mario as a kid, but yeah, I'm 22 now....tomb raider, haven't seen the second, don't think I wanna after the first, in which all I kept thinking was "damn, why doesn't she show as much titty as she did in original sin?!?" Final Fantasy, I quiet enjoyed, yet my understanding of the overall film was about 1%, it DID look great though, and, oh shit, a really bad one was double dragon, god I thought that was shitty at the age of 12! There's a rumour of a crazy taxi movie, well, I just don't know what to say about that...resident evil, I gotta say was "ok", and probably the best so far....however, I've just seen a trailer for
"Alone in the dark"....actually looks pretty damn good....

Now, movies turned games....there's quiet a difference here, alot of the time, movie-based games are pretty good...so yeah, I'll name a few I liked, but b4 Ido, I gotta ask, did anyone play the really old NIGTMARE ON ELM ST game? I mean, there was an n.e.s version, but I mean even b4 that...it was like, an amiga game or something...all I can remember is running away from a giant freddy while trying to find his house....I never found his house, 'cos all the houses looked the damn same! There was also a friday the 13th game, which was kinda interesting...anyway, on with the list...
*Willow (arcade)
*Terminator 2 (arcade was ok, 16-bit platformer was better)
*Goldeneye (n64)
*Indiana Jones and the last crusade (16-bit, hard, but good)
*Indiana Jones and The Emperors tomb (I think thats the title, I played a demo, and it was VERY GOOD, I know it's not EXACTLY based on a movie, but a movie character, it WAS worth a mention.

ok, well, it seems harder to think of these games when u wanna, but I'm pretty certain that the rule is that the game based on the movie is (90% of the time) better than the movie based on the game...

god, I can't beleive I forgot this one...never mind, I edited it in...
*Evil dead: Hail to the king, the bosses were kinda creative, the story was ok, but other than those two aspects, I'd have to say the game pretty much sucked, big time.
*Evil Dead: A fistfull of boomstick...haven't played it yet, but it looks a hell of a lot better so far than the last lame attempt.
And hey bloodrayne, u probably know this already, but yeah, they are supposedly making the movie of BR.
